Caroline lives on the western edge of Dartmoor not far from the Devon and Cornwall border. She has two married sons and four little grandsons.

She has a wide range of hobbies and interests: Cake decorating and sugarcraft, various arts and crafts – calligraphy, knitting, crochet and sewing, and most especially writing. She loves learning and using new skills and went to university as a mature student graduating with an MA (post compulsory education), which fuelled her passion for learning and started the constructive writing habit.

Through her working life she had a variety of careers: working in catering, financial services, teaching in adult education and freelance experience as a virtual assistant.

Widowed  in 2014, she believes the time has arrived to focus on writing and to strive for new goals. In addition, to hopefully revive her love of travelling to a variety of exotic and interesting locations and work at getting some dreams off her Bucket List!

She loves where she lives, in a pretty market town in Devon, but knows that new and different horizons fire her inspiration. It’s spending some time elsewhere that has made her recognise just how much she loves home – as the old adage advises make the familiar unfamiliar to see it with new eyes.
